Does anybody know what the wader is behind the Little Egret in this pic I took in Wexford? Sorry for the bad pic

I thought it might be a Grey Plover? thanks

Hi Wigwam,

The wader is indeed a Grey Plover and I would hazard a guess and say you took that pic at the east end of Tacumshin Lake? A good spot for that species in late summer & winter.

Yes Niall, that was indeed on the east end of Tacumshin Lake , what a guess!! :smoke:

I had a great day, saw my first Hen Harrier there too, beautiful the way they hunt over the reeds.
