Good Year for British Birds (1 Viewer)

Excellent news! Although I don't have much experience to go by I did think that I was seeing a very good number of young birds in my garden and in the local area, Whitethroats, House Sparrows and Starlings seemed to be especially prolific here - and most welcome they have been too!

It's nice to finally read a newspaper article with a science theme that actually mentions the methodology, and has a good stab at describing the results accurately rather than the usual newspaper trick of announcing a discovery that wasn't there!

Generally good news, populations changing as always but no mention of our breeding seabirds, did they fare better this year?

Cheers G
