I managed to pick up a secondhand copy of of Birds of Kent this weekend, a fascinating book but it is now 20 yrs out of date. Has there been anything else published since that any Kent birdwatchers would recommend - either on specific sites or on county trends?

Thanks Richard

I know a new Birds of Kent is in the advanced stages of production.

As Mike points out a new Birds of Kent is planned. In the meantime the annual bird report has lots of useful information on species and trends. See here.

Thanks for the heads up on the new Birds of Kent. Any other Kent birding books recommended?

Thanks Richard
