I hope to get out with a tour guide next weekend on the East side of the Andean slope. If he is good, I will forward you his contact info! But until then, I don't have anything for you!

Hi Rapinante, maybe you could try Bellavista Cloud Forest where you can stay at the lodge with free guiding as part of the package. There's also Tropical Birding; as well as long tours they do guiding from Tandayapa Lodge, although they're a bit pricey. Or there's Mindo Bird Tours. There are others, a quick Google will show you.
