Question about starlings nest in my home. (1 Viewer)

Starlings have made a nest in my house somewhere around the attic, they got into the house using a small entry hole. they keep me up at night. I noticed about two weeks ago that there were some broken shells outside so I figured the female has given birth. I read online that the young leave the nest after 3 weeks. I would like to know if the entire family will abandon the nest for good so i can remove it and patch the entry hole? or will they keep coming back all the time to "hang out" and sleep?

I don't mind them bothering me for another week or so, but there is no way I am going to have them as full time roommates.

Thanks in advance for your answers and advice.

Once the young fledge, neither the fledglings nor the parents would have need of the nest so it would be safe to block access at that point.
