Tomorrow night (Wednesday 31st) I'm off to South America, specifically Ecuador, for a while. Among other things I am hoping to do a fair bit of sketching while I am there; the sketching stuff is all packed. The results will appear here eventually but as I'll have no internet access, apart from when I can get into town every few weeks or so, updates will be few and far between.

I have been incredibly idle these past few months, both birding and sketching-wise, and I am hoping to make up for it by being more prolific (I keep on saying that). I'm hoping to improve my photography, too.

Thanks everyone. I'm off to Heathrow late this evening and because I am on the first flight out in the morning I have a very long and boring wait tonight. I'm hoping Terminal 2 has a public wireless connection so I can pass the time...
