Agree with Andy on 3, 1 is oriole finch, 4 is green longtail, 5 is white chinned prinia.

2 is one of the Muscicapa flycatchers I think, there were lots of African dusky's around but this looks larger and paler...

Just had a quick Google and can see no examples of birds that show the black bar across the throat and it looks nothing at all like the illustration in Borrow and Demey, having said that, Google images look nothing like the illustration either!

Still it is a White-chinned Prinia.
