Colorado Rosy-Finch (1 Viewer)

World Birder
The attached was taken at Loveland Pass a couple of weeks ago in a mixed flock of Rosy-Finches which contained all three species and the Hepburn's subspecie of Grey-crowned. My feeling is that this is a Black Rosy-Finch, due to the lack of pink and its overall grayish colouration but would appreciate confirmation. The bird in the background is a Brown-capped Rosy-finch.

Thanks Mark

Hi, looks ok for Black Rosy Finch, although I guess the spectre of a hybrid is always a possibility.
Brings back great memories of the Loveland area!

Cheers, S
