Anyone got any thoughts on the sp500, thinking of replacing my SP730. How does this camera compare with other superzooms?
The main problem with the 730 is the horrible lag between pressing the button and it taking a picture. Has this been improved with more modern versions?

Even though it does not have image stabilization, I am tempted to replace my C-750 with it, just to get the extra 2MP. It can use the TCON 17, same as earlier cameras, which is a good thing, although a lot of competitors can also use it.
