Thumbs up Saemangeum Reclamation Project

I am starting this thread again as it was lost during the recent system failure.

This Korean wetlands site is a project close to my heart, Saemangeum is an important stopover for many birds migrating in the southern hemisphere as well as being a haven for many rare birds. If anyone wants further details or even more importantly wishes to become involved in saving this site please go to www.birdskorea.org website for latest details, posted on 11 February.

Please as a worldwide bird site, can YOU help, 20,000 plus members, their friends, colleagues etc. writing letters may just make a difference. I myself am receiving great support from work colleagues (very surprised at that) and a petition is going round our departments.

Thank you

Ann Chaplin

Thumbs up

Thanks Andrew and Stewart. I have had quite a lot of interest shown at work when I ran off several of the letters, there is now a petition going round for me there.

Thanks again.
