British Columbia in May - June (1 Viewer)

We are looking doing a 3 week road trip through British Columbia next year.
Time frame would be end of May, beginning of June. With a classic tour going from Vancouver to Calgary. Including Vancouver Island and Jasper NP.
Would this be a good period for birding this region, or a couple of weeks to early for all migration species to have arrived yet?
