JanD kindly took me on a birding trip around Victoria (thanks Jan!), we visited Goldstream Park and Esquimalt Lagoon. I also went on a full day birding tour with Pacific Rainforest Adventure Tours - their guide Christopher is a professional ornithologist and it was an excellent choice. A BirdingPal took me to Boundary Bay and Reifel Bird Sanctuary south of Vancouver. I also birded on my own in these two last places, , Elk Falls Park and Quinsam River Hatchery near Campbell River (VI) and Stanley Park in Vancouver. I also did two whale watching trips.
