Eyes On Birds

We have a trip planned for Jan 25-Feb 5 to San Blas to coincide with the International Migratory Festival.

That said, we haven’t found much information on the Festival, and really have ZERO knowledge of what to expect. How many people attend (25? 200? 1000?) Do we need to line up an English-speaking guide in advance? Do we make “reservations” for any of the tours/expeditions like to La Tovara, or will it be easy to sign up once there? Where should we go (or not go)? Is there a published schedule of activities? As rather amateurish birders, are we out of our element here? Truly, if there is anything you can tell us or suggestions you might make, they’re appreciated. Thanks!
