Can anyone please I/D either or both of these poorly marked/worn moths? I think the first is probably a Dun-bar but I'm not sure of the second (possible Sallow type?). Any help will be appreciated
Terry

I suppose they could both be Dun-bars but the second photograph seems to show the tips of the fore-wings to be slightly hooked and I have never noticed that before on a Dun-bar whereas some of the Sallows do have this feature.

First is a Dun-bar second is Angle-striped Sallow, I got one tonight, it's regular in Notts as one of two main areas that the species is to be found though it's new for me in the UK.
