Hello from Vancouver Island (1 Viewer)

Hi!

My name is Jan Paul and I am a German currently living in Victoria on Vancouver Island. I am a Biologist, but have nothing to do with animals except little fruit flies. Birding is quite new for me, and I started it mainly because I was so amazed by the different birds here compared to Europe. I currently have an 8x40 Nikon Action EX, which is nice but will be replaced by an upgrade soon. I am also playing with the thought to get a spotting scope for stationary shore watching.
