New Mark Cocker book forthcoming (1 Viewer)

Looks like a selection of previously published material to me. Fine if you haven't read his Guardian columns....

Bit like Bill Oddie's book 'Gripping Yarns' then in which most, if not all, of them were previous articles which he'd had in Birdwatch magazine. Still a good read though as most of them I'd forgotten about :'D

When is his column published in the Guardian? Probably Saturdays knowing my luck - the one day I'm not at work so can't have a quick look ( i work in a newsagents ). I'll have a quick look in the returns pile tomorrow morning and pray there's a copy left for me to read ( or, rather, take the relevant page out before sending the rest of the paper back to be recycled!).

Or try this: http://search.guardian.co.uk/search97cgi/s97networkr_cgi?sourceid=Mozilla-search&Action=Search&Collection=archive_artifact&ResultTemplate=Archive_Artifact.hts&SortSpec=VdkPublicationDate+Desc&QueryText=Mark+Cocker&ResultStart=0

Thanks Andy :t:

We had one copy of yesterday's Guardian left so I had a quick shufty through but could not find anything remotely wildlifey! But having clicked on to your link it seems that Mark's column appears in Monday's issues.

I'll be having a quick read on my break tomorrow then!

Incidentally, it looks like the Guardian has some id posters all this week - sharks, garden birds, flowers etc .......though I have to admit the artwork looks rather suspect! ;) Arty snob that I am LOL I just like wildlife art to look like the thing it is suppopsed to be portraying!!!
