Help needed with Gull ID (1 Viewer)

Not too sure as can't see its head too clearly but it couls be a kittiwake, or a black headed gull, their head is white when in their winter plumage.

This is a Black-headed Gull. The wingtip pattern does not match with Kittiwake.

Black-headed has a white wedge created by the outer primaries (and coverts too, I guess) with a distinct black trailing edge. http://www.hawar-islands.com/blog/media/blogs/kuwait/BH-Gull4.jpg

Kittiwakes have a pattern more akin to larger gulls. They have a small but distinct inky patch on the wingtip and their mantle is gray but tending almost to white farther along the wing (distally). http://www.cwardphotography.co.uk/l...and 2005/small_images/Bempton Kittiwake 4.JPG
