Breeding the next generation of birders.
Can anyone shed some light on these dragonfly type things, I am totally clueless on this sort of beastie!!

I assume some are male some female etc.

photo's

1 Banded Demoiselle C.splendens. male
2 Probably Azure Damselfly Coenagrion puella. The marking on segment 2 of the abdomen not shown in full but it appears to be this species.
3 Banded Demoiselle C.splendens. female.
4 Probably a teneral Blue-tailed Damselfly Ischnura elegans, colours not showing at best advantage.
5 A very freshly emerged (teneral) damselfly insufficient colouring to determine species.
6 Red-eyed Damselfly Erythromma najas.
