Your list will be nearly the same as mine then...

As a very short distance migrant with limited distibution, I'm going to be hard to add. CJW was lucky that he caught my ship assisted passage following a small reverse migration

You're one of the easiest to get Jane - on the mainland, sociable and fairly sedentary.
I'm the difficult one to catch up with, as I hardly ever leave the island and am a solitary species not prone to mingling with others (so the Oop North Bash is probably the only chance people will get).

My old jalopy is about up for renewal so I might get around a bit more when I get a newer one, otherwise I do most of my birding within a few miles of home nowadays.

As there's seldom anything around here worth travelling to see it makes me a bit of a 'blocker' as well!

Andrew,

Full marks for remembering our short meeting. It really is about time you learned how to spell Stephen though!

Regards,

Stephen.
My apologies, I shall remedy it straight away (if I can find the post!)

Having known me for some time Jane will have seen me in varying plumages from juvenile to very juvenile! And now that I am a father - post-breeding/permanently knackered!

Surely those members who don't post should be worth more? Are they the silent majority....? I know of a few, but can not name them because they probably want to remain anonymous voyeurs.

Finally, how come some of you are on this forum in the early hours on a spring morning (presuming it is spring where you are) and not in the field - I have an excuse - I log in in work time when I wish I was birding!

Finally, finally CJW - how do I change my log in name - a little boring isn't it - presuming that is my name, maybe I'm masquerading? Having said that I would surely have chosen a less boring log in to masquerade as!

Steve, send me a PM with what you want to change it to and I'll pass it on to Admin. to do the necessary. Or alternatively you could just contact Admin. direct.

Chris

PS Got my complimentary issue #2 the other day, thanks, and 'the subscription cheque is in the post'....

I think I shall specialise in island endemics :) Planning on locating a H.Hussey if sewatching conditions look favourable this autumn.
No problems with that,as long as we both tick Fea's Petrel...!;)
Got to go now, leaving Cork at 2:30am tomorrow....

I went to Cork in August and was told by a birder at Ballycotton that locating a Harry Hussey should be a piece of cake especially at Galley Head. Staying nearby I went every morning & not once did I manage to connect with a Hussey.

That's seawatching for you!

Looks like I'll have to make optimum use of information services then!

Being from across "the pond" I have only one "tick", (Grousemore). It is one that I shall long remember. I have not "bumped into" any of the US species yet!

No need, you could just ask me for my mobile number like Tom should have done(after all,he HAD been in touch with me via e-mail before he came over, and neglected to make arrangements to meet).
I wouldn't do too well if I were to make a list of BF members: only seen 6 at most!
Another way to 'tick' me is to come over here for an Irish mega:I shouldn't be too far away(unless I've seen the species)...!;)
