A moth sp NE.London? (1 Viewer)

Unexpectedly found this on the patio door this evening, just under an inch wing span. Not one that I've seen before, initially thought that it might be a carpet type, have been through Lewingtons without success, thus assume it's a Micro?

Surprised you didn't think along the lines of mottled umber Ken (which perhaps you see regularly)...similar pattern, probably on the next page. This is another of the spring species...
