More householders than ever before are spotting Woodpigeons. Nearly 90% of BTO Garden BirdWatch recorders have hosted this portly bird during a typical week this year, second only to Blackbird and Blue Tit. Could Woodpigeons soon become our most spotted garden bird?

Yep, come November I get about 30 at a time stripping the holly berries before the winter Thrushes get a chance.... What's that recipe again.....
 
The birds I always see in my garden (and make up pretty much half my photos) even had one die in the garden a few weeks back so I am not totally surprised
