I notice that the paperback version of the superb Stevenson/Fanshawe FG on the Birds of East Africa supposedly has a few added pages. At least, that is what Amazon is showing for the Princeton UP version. Is this really an expanded second edition with 640 pages, or is it a plain mistake, as the British edition is listed with 604 pages?

Hello

i have the princeton edition, it contains 604 pages. i think there is no expanded version of the book, it can be only a mistake, they've just simply mixed the numbers....

Zoli

PS: i attached a photo of the book, just to see, i really have that version

Relief! I don't need to buy a new book. ;)
That is, at least not until I have a chance to go there. For I think the paperback version would be at least a little bit less weighty.

Thanks, Zoli, for clearing this up.
