I currently have two adapters a Pentax TP3 and a generic L bracket. Both are same height though the L might be the sturdiest of the lot. I'm looking for an adapter that is a touch shorter, so the glass is mounted closer to tripod head? I really don't want to have to get one made and I'm sure there are some on the market that match what I'm looking for any help would be much appreciated!!! Bryce...

hello Bryce.

I use the leica tripod adapter as it will accept other roof prism bins, the downside is its expensive .
Try and get hold of one second hand if you can B :)

Nikon makes a nice unit that will work with pretty much any binocular. It is called the Nikon Binoc-U-Mount and it is reasonably priced
