Utah in Mid April (1 Viewer)

I am in Utah for a work trip mid-April and am thinking of three days' birding. My question is whether there will be too much snow in the Salt Lake region to see a variety of habitat, or whether we should start in Vegas and work from teh wartm end up?

Any thoughts and local knowledge welcomed.
