How much should I ask for this Canon lense ?? (1 Viewer)

I am actually asking on behalf of my brother who is looking to upgrade.
Canon 70-300 IS.
3 years old (might be 2 years) Condition is "excellent" e.g. no scratches & lense is clean.
One owner.
It is a long time since I have bought/sold any lenses so am completely out of touch and would appreciate some guidance.
BTW.....he want to get a 70-300 L.
Thanks

Dealers seem to sell this for around £200-230 so I guess a bit under that as it won't have any sort of warranty. I have heard great things about the 70-300 L and am sure he will notice a real improvement over the non-L lens.

Thank you...........much appreciated.
