Hello,
I am very interested in buying the model 82 SP ED Kite, somewhat cheaper than the Vortex Razor 85 and my big question would be if I do catching: 25-50X or 20-60X,zoom eyepiece model, as it will be for visual observation, no digis .
Someone could give me a more expert opinion?
thanks

Assuming the difference between the two zooms is the same as the difference between the two Zen Ray zooms of the same magnification range I would opt for the 25-50x wide angle. I found that after using the 25-50 wide angle zoom from Zen Ray I did not feel the need to use a fixed power, wide angle eyepiece.

I did not notice a need for the extra 10x magnification of the 20-60x zoom for the applications I was using it for but I certainly appreciated the increased field of view of the wide angle 25-50x.
