Bird droppings get town in a flap (BBC News) (1 Viewer)

Thank you for the news article

I am seeing a lot of petty mindedness going on here. Local people who have no interest in wildlife at all. I wonder if the area is full of people with far too much time on their hands, and like to create a stink over nothing.

Mr Demack, and his wife do love Starlings. Their lovely ancient trees that they cherish (historically too) are being loped back. This couple are the ones who are being inconvenienced here.

If the Starlings are considered a pest why don't BT place their telephone kiosks away from under trees. Again remove the bench away from under the trees. Simple as that.

Tree are trees and birds naturally sit on branches in them. So pathetic really.

People cannot change nature, so what are they trying to gain out of this other than a lot of expense for the Council. Besides the fact the trees are in a conservation area too. What a moan over nothing.
