Squacco (Indian Pond?) Heron, Kuwait (1 Viewer)

Well, this is obviously silly. But "Birds of Middle East" state that not all Indian Pond Herons the have the lores, so let's give it a shot ... This was definitely the darkest Squacco Heron we have ever seen. It's rather hard to capture that in pictures because you can make it any color you like with postprocess, but it was quite eye-catching compared to other Squaccos in the area. So we did not change the colors, but then it is just as dark as the exposure was. In any case, the bird was so prominent that we could find it on three separate occasions, always in the same area and we were always sure that it is this one outstanding heron.
