Does anyone have any idea of a suitable web site to download British Bird songs onto a Blackberry
Any help appreciated

good morning,

I think your best option is to place MP3's of bird songs onto the SD/Micro Sd card or "memory card" of your blackberry, transferring them from your PC to to Blackberry with the USB cable,

Download readily made MP3 bird songs for your phone/blackberry/iphone/MP3 player here:
http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio4/science/birdsong.shtml

There are 100's of bird songs / sounds / samples on the net but these are usually .WAV format,
if you download Audacity
http://free-loops.com/audacity-free-sound-editor.php
This will allow you to convert WAV to MP3

If you have never done this before it may sound like a lot of work but it really isnt,
If you would like to ask any other questions regarding format, compatibillity etc im sure i can help you out, thanks.

Donwload lots of bird songs here too:
http://www.10x50.com/sounds.htm
(you may see WAV or RA -> (RA is real audio -ignore these ones)
in thi example you would have to convert WAV -> MP3 using audacity

I took the easy option of playing either from the website or the disc of the birds I wanted on the Blackberry and simply recording as a voice note on the Blackberry - I can check the ones I need to check, not the technical approach, but I found the discs I had were protected and I could not get them onto the computer to create MP3 files.
