Azores - info needed (1 Viewer)

Hi all, we are off to the Azores in the third week of October this autumn, staying on the island of Flores and hoping to make a quick visit to Corvo, weather permitting.

I've noticed some birders who stay on Corvo refer in their reports to using radios - are these the same ones as used on Scillies? I'm also guessing there must be a Whatsapp or Facebook group for sharing news, does anyone have any more information on this?

Not sure if there's actually a recorder on the islands to officially report sightings to? Irregardless, I'd happily swap news with anyone staying on any of the islands during our week, which is 12th - 19th October. Always good to be up to date with the general migration picture, even when there's no rarities about.

I'd also be very grateful if anyone could recommend a decent map.

Regards, Phil Callagher
