Best chance of a Cirl Bunting (1 Viewer)

Hi gambirder. Prawle is generally reckoned to be favourite for this species, but to be honest they are not hard to find almost anywhere near the south Devon coast. Where are you staying ?

As advertised, easy to see in coastal sites. Labrador Bay, the first site we stopped at, had numerous singing males within 100m or so of the car park. Plus lots of other sightings - in lower branches, on freshly-ploughed field etc. From then on, the call was a feature of various coastal sites we dropped in on.
