Mystery Kenyan birds (1 Viewer)

Hello everyone,

I've just got back from a fantastic trip across Africa, full of lovely places, people and wildlife. Kenya was my first stop and my first ever visit to Africa, so I was very new to all the birdlife. So, I have a few photos of birds that I'm a bit stuck on as to the identification.

If anyone can help me out I'd be really grateful!

The first three shots were at a roadside picnic spot on the way to the Masai Mara. The rest are from the Masai Mara itself.

I think first two are yellow-bellied greenbul, then grey-headed sparrow and grassland pipit.I was in Kenya last week - so I'm probably wrong on at least one !

This is funny, my initial impression of no 3 was some type of coucal. I guess I got the size wrong?

Agree. Northern Grey-headed Sparrow has a longer tail than Southern which adds to the 'Coucal' look but Coucals have round tipped tails.

The first was more warbler-sized, don't think it was a greenbul. The second is a sparrow some sort, but wasn't sure between Northern Grey-headed and Swahili. And the pipit I think looks a lot more like a Plain-backed?
