howdy all!

i'm from anchorage alaska and found this forum while i was tooling around online. we don't have a great variety of birds up here (at least not where i'm at), however a bald eagle did try to eat my mother's chihuahua...

Hi Influx,

On behalf of Admin and the Moderators, welcome to Bird Forum :t:

LOL! Chihuahua - a tasty morsel for a Bald Eagle ;)

Hi influx,

Welcome to BirdForum.

Hey... what birds you do get, don't forget to share them with us! :t:

a ridiculous amount of ravens and gulls, grebes and chickadees. and the occasional bald eagle. and a million magpies, all of which apparantly live in my backyard.

Influx,
Welcome to Birdforum. Hope you enjoy it here as much as I do. I visited Alaska just a bit south of you several years back. We spent a week on Glacier Bay. What fantastic scenery! And you might not have lots of birds in Anchorage, but Alaska.... WOW. Look forward to hearing more about the birds you're seeing.
