Texas Coast trip list (1 Viewer)

Steve Gross

Well-known member
Here's the list of my 73 species from a Christmas Day of birding the Texas coast. I spent my time mucking around the saltmarshes, looking for Nelson's Sharp-tailed Sparrow and Seaside Sparrow.

My list for Texas sightings is now at 345 for the year. This was not a serious Big Year attempt, but it was fun keeping track.

Enjoy,

Steve in Houston

Actually, as I now remember, I did have a Roseate Spoonbill. It was in a bay-like area just at the end of the bridge leading off of Galveston Island. Thanks for the reminder!
