HI All,

Please help with these ... all taken in Montrose Point, Chicago:

1 - No idea but think a type of flycatcher?
2 - Think the top one is HOUSE WREN and the bottom one WINTER WREN but maybe the same bird?
3 - Think this is a MARSH WREN
4 - Think this is a NORTHERN WATERTHRUSH
5 - Think this is a HERMIT THRUSH

Please help to confirm or to correct.

Thanks as always :)

1 is pretty tough without other angles but I’d guess least flycatcher.

2 is house wren on top winter wren on the bottom. In addition to other features, the bill shape and color is a give away. Lighter color, longer and decurved on the top house wren. Compare

Thanks everyone ... appreciate it

Unfortunately for #1 this was the only quick snap I got before it shot off :(

... a few more I just found while browsing my photos:

6 - I think this is a LINCOLN'S SPARROW but not sure with so many different ones around
7 - Is this a VEERY or a HERMIT THRUSH ... not sure
8 - Is this what is called a WILLET or some sort of a sandpiper
9 - I have only ever seen a mute swan but think this is either a TUNDRA or a TRUMPETER?
10 - This could either be a young TREE, a NORTHERN ROUGH-WINGED or a BANK SWALLOW ... no idea

Thanks as always

Agree with #s 6 and 8, think #10 is a Northern Rough Winged Swallow in view of the dirty throat.
Believe #9 is Tundra Swans, big beaks with no yellow that I can see, not sure about #7, the speckling seems too much for a Veery, but the reddish tail that marks the Hermit Thrush is difficult to determine.

4.northern waterthrush
5.hermit thrush
6.Lincoln's sparrow
