ID please Green sandpiper or common sandpiper? (1 Viewer)

A bit tricky pic, but I believe it’s a Green Sandpiper. Most important reasons are long bill, that supercilium is quite obvious in front of eye but absent behind, and that general colour tones fit Green better than Common.

I agree and would also add that the shape is subtly wrong for Common which has longer tail giving an atenuated feel. Also, although Common could occur here, the more boggy, leafy habitat favours Green ...
