Just really getting into birds , thinking skua on this one but not sure which one. taken near Barmouth in Wales last month

thanks both for a very prompt reply, the bird actually landed on the beach but unfortunately i wasn't quick enough with the camera, thanks again, I have more that I'm unsure of.
 
Its a lot easier in the air anyway - unless you can see the upper and undertail coverts, the bill pattern and the tail shape well on the water
