Good Evening Forum!
I spotted a female hairy woodpecker crawling up the side of my neighbor's house this afternoon. After she had flipped herself over onto the eave, I noticed 'flakes' floating down to the ground. I realized she was attacking a bee hive.
I have a small bee hive in the peak of my house that is full of holes and I wonder if she is the culprit.
Any idea what she's after? Would she actually eat bees??
