I saw Mallards, Eurasian Teals, Northern Pintails, Northern Shovelers, Gadwalls, (Greylag?) Geese, a Common Shelduck, Eurasian Coots, Eurasian Spoonbills, a White Stork, Great Cormorants, a (Yellow- legged?) Gull, Northern Lapwings and a Common Snipe :)

Super. What impressive birds they are. Last year was the first no show year in my home town since I moved here. I get passovers most years. Here's hoping for spring this year.

They are impressive birds indeed! Unfortunetly in Austria, they don't breed. You can only observe them on migration. Looking forward to spring as well, hopefully I can see one again! :)
