Collared dove, everyone's got to start somewhere..

Thanks again to sidewayspigeon for the DCB-A at a great price. I wouldn't be able to justify it otherwise.

Not too much light around at 20:45. 20x eyepiece on an ATS80HD with a Fuji F200EXR... and a bit of photoshoping.

Will try to capture the wonderful colour of their eyes next time.

..and get the spelling right.

I splashed out on a G3 and 20mm f/1.7 lens. It's got a lot of features to make a digiscoper happy.

Another attempt at a collared dove and a snap of another rarity, the starling.
These are taken with the 20x eyepiece.

The jackdaws and herons are with the 45x.
Lots of tweaking was needed in Lightroom.
Jackdaws are cool as their eyes are great for getting a white balance.
I wish I could have got closer to those herons.
