Robber Frog (Eleutherodactylus sp.)
12 November 2015. Cayo Paredon Grande, Ciego de Ávila, Cuba

I believe this is some type of Robber Frog. There were quite a few along the road. They were tiny, about half the size of a chapstick. I would appreciate help with specific identification.

Thanks.

Thanks. I received the following on another forum "Judging by the head shape, it is more likely a juvenile Peltophyrne sp - there are around 8 species on Cuba...."

What do you think?

Confirmed as a young Peltophryne peltacephala orTschudi's Caribbean Toad. Thanks to Dr. Luis M. Díaz Curator of Herpetology Museo Nacional de Historia Natural de Cuba for the ID.
