I spotted these birds along the Highline Trail in Glacier National Park, MT, USA, in early August. Elevation is around 7K feet above sea level.

Is the first one a Townsend's Solitaire?

The second two photos were taken from a distance (sorry for the poor quality) but there were several birds flitting about in the flowers on the slope below the trail.

Having never seen one I could't figure out the first one but Siskins rang true for me in the other two.

Ditto to Townsend's Solitaire and Pine Siskins; if of interest, the Solitaire is in a Rocky Mts Subalpine Fir Abies lasiocarpa subsp. bifolia.
