Blue-black Grassquit or Blue Seedeater (1 Viewer)

Can someone please identify this bird? Taken near Mindo Ecuador in July. I believe it to be Blue-black Grassquit or Blue Seedeater.

Bill looks like a Grassquit to me, which is also the far more common species. Though it looks like you photographed it in or near Bamboo perhaps. I don't know Blue Seedeater terribly well but would expect a more saturated blue and a heavier bill. Typically Blue Seedeater is found in seeding bamboo. It is vocally very distinct and easily told with a better angle of photo.
 
Thanks PBJosh. I originally thought it was a Blue-black Grassquit, but the angle is difficult so I wanted someone else's opinion. Thanks.
