Two dragonflies for id - Essex, England

Photographed in the last week.

Four spot chaser and Brilliant Emerald ?! (but is rare so probably not)

Not sure why you thought those as neither really look like those species?

Both are immature darters but not great photos. The legs appear all black + if that isn't a photographic artefact then Ruddy Darters.

I've not seen these dragonflies before so tried a website. That website only had the male ruddy darter as its main picture which is red and looks thinner bodied. I was looking for one yellow/golden bodied species and then a more green looking one.

I see now these fit your identification better and will remember to look for the gender and age differences in future.
