Hi,

This photo was taken at Phoenix Desert Botanic Gardens...

I have lots of pics of Anna's and Black Chinned - could this be a Costa's?

Any help greatly appreciated!

Looks pretty good for female Costa's Hummingbird to me. Small size, whitish belly, and pale supercilium are diagnostic. Too white below for female Anna's and lacks the reddish throat patch; bill not long enough for Black-chinned and lacks the buffy sides and grayish crown.
