We removed a patch of reed mace in front of hide, to hopefully attract more water birds closer to hide and improve views of open water and reeds opposite.
Feeding station was opened up, vegetation was cleared around the saplings in the NE corner . Willow growth and dead alders were cut back along the causeway...this is for safety reasons (falling on to cars) , to improve for 'vis - migging' and to stop reeds drying out in some sections.
The car park boundary was cut back as it has been encroaching into the parking zones.

Also thanks to Bobby P for the cake:t::eat:

PLEASE NOTE NEXT TUESDAY..WE WILL BE CUTTING ON THE WEST SIDE OF CAR PARK ...SO PLEASE PARK ON THE POOL SIDE OF CAR PARK (EAST SIDE). THANKS
