Had a lovely walk out in the sun this eve on my usual beach/bay area, to be honest it was a bit slow birding wise, hoping for a Curlew Sand amongst the Dunlin but wasnt to be, also hoping for a Little Stint which i,ve never seen, still, on the way back to the car decided to have a look on the other side of the bay and there was my first Irish Spotted Red...lovely happy days.

Hi Neil,
Where did you have it? Need it for a city year list I'm keeping and it's a tricky one to find within the city limits.
ATB,

Aonghus.

Hello bud, saw it from Barna park overlooking Rusheen Bay (next to the garage) feeding to the left then flew across toward Gentian hill after being disturbed by a dog.

Ta. That channel there looks perfect for one. It's where both Dowitchers showed up in the past so it's always worth a look. Don't start me about the dog owners.
ATB,

Aonghus
