Keeping in the spirit of supporting our feathered friends, I for one want to give a hearty cheer for the Ducks. That would be the Ducks of University of Oregon football fame.

They are playing another feathered foe in the BCS National Championship tonight -the (tigers) or ( War Eagles) of Auburn. Even though their mascot is the tigers. They can't seem to make up their mind and are conflicted between their mascot (tiger) and their rally cry of "Go....War Eagle"

Well, I am not conflicted with my support tonight as I am a U. of Oregon grad and am expecting the Ducks to come through and win their first National Championship in football.

Congrats to the War Eagles of Auburn. Looks like the eagles talons were too much for the ducks to survive.

Had that official not become a screen, perhaps Oregon would not have scored on that drive. On the other hand being tackled and rolling over the defender and not being down is quite a feat. Those were evenly matched teams, and the defenses outshined the offenses. Two best teams in the nation.
