Ivory Hunters (a novel of extinction) (1 Viewer)

I purchased this novel a couple of years ago and read it, but had kind'a forgotten about it until the recent news hit the papers, radio, TV and what have you. So I went into the living room where I have book shelves on which I keep reference books and things I may want to read a second or even in a few cases, a third or fourth time. "Ivory Hunters" by Greg Lewbart was one of these. I started reading it again yesterday evening and can't put it down. It's a mystery novel about a semi-crook who spots an Ivory-billed in southwestern Florida and his scheme to make a buck off of it. Greg Lewbart was with North Carolina State University in the biology department at the time he wrote it. I recommend it strongly to anyone who likes birds and novels.
