It is approaching 20 years since last I saw that species, so I was unsure.

Any more photos of this bird?
It looks unusually dark!

It does say on this one pic -

"One question is age of this bird. Most images from today makes it look paler than on this particular photo."

So may just be this one photo ... guess ebird for others?
 
So additional photos, in a variety of angles and lights. I have not lightened or darkened any of these relative to what the camera did on location.
